Melbournes motorcycle district is in the downtown city core. From what I had heard, there is a rich history in that area for motorcycles and it continues today. One that almost slipped by us was Modak Motorcycles. It was established in the 30's and it's still going. The 'new' owners took it over in the 50's and, by the looks of things, they adhere to the moto, "if it aint broke, don't fix it". This place is a time warp! There was even a very old lady sitting at a table who, I'm sure, has been there since day 1. Modak is Australia's oldest cycle shop. And, everyday we passed it, there were people in there picking stuff up or inquiring about parts for their British iron.
The dude seemed oblivious to the number of photos being taken of the place
Took a while to realize the little old lady was still alive.
