"This is Trev Deeley trail riding a 55" K model Harley-Davidson. These were the days when you would use the same bike for everything. This is probably on Burnaby Mountain. The trails that exist there today were carved out of the bush by the motorcycling community. As population increased, the motorcyclists were banned from the Mountain. The trails were taken over by horse people only to have bicycle riders and hiking groups get the horses banned. Every year the local motorcycle clubs would have a work weekend to clean up the trails for summer riding. This is now done by the City of Burnaby. If you would like to see the K Model that Trev is riding, it is on display in the Deeley Motorcycle Exhibition."
