Mt St Helens

Mt. St.Helens fascinated me. I can remember when it blew its top way back when,
finding ash on my 67 Toyota Corolla. I was looking forward to the ride up the mountain,
not only because the road was great but also to see what was up top

First view of the mountain

These trees "survived"

End of the road

The moonscape. I kept thinking how cool it would be to hike across this

Thousands of logs piled up in the corner of the lake. Leftovers from the thousands (millions?)
of trees that were swept away after the blast
